Birdseye Pea Gravel

Birdseye Pea gravel is typically made of river rock with smooth, rounded edges caused by erosion and natural weathering. The name “pea” refers to its size—usually 3/8″ or less in diameter.

Blue Mountain Rock 3/4″

Blue Mountain is bluish gray color and is good product for any paver, concrete, or parking pad project. This gravel consists of 3/4 inch angular crushed rock. The result is a gravel that, when properly compacted, provides a solid semi-permeable base for your building project.

Blue Mt 3/4 Road Base

Blue Mountain RB is bluish gray color and is good product for any paver, concrete, or parking pad project. This gravel consists of 3/4 inch angular crushed rock, sediment fines, sand, and minimum amount of clay as a binder. The result is a gravel that, when properly compacted, provides a solid semi-permeable base for your building project.

Concrete Rock

Is a blend of various types of aggregate rock regularly used to make ready-mix concrete. Size is generally 1″ minus.

Drain Rock 1-1/2″-

This is a rounded aggregate rock approximately 1-1/2″ in size. Useful in various applications but is commonly use in septic leach lines and in drainage systems.

Ginger Path Fines

Ginger Path Fines are a 1/4” minus rock that is an excellent choice for boosting the appearance of your yard. This product is the excellent solution for a pathway and will look amazing with any landscape project.

Ginger 3/8″ Minus

Ginger Rock is a yellowish to gold rock with peach undertones. This very popular rock is unique and is only found in Northern California. Ginger Rock is classified as a Volcanic Rhyolite and is lightweight compared to other similar rocks.

Granite – Decomposed Fines

Decomposed Granite is like gravel, but finer and more stable. It is formed from the natural weathering and erosion of solid granite, a tough, hard, igneous rock.

Green Path Fines

Green Path Fines are 1/4″ minus granite fines with a bluish-green hue. Green Path Fines are typically used for pathways and also for a compacted base for artificial turf. This product has good qualities for achieving solid compaction.

Green Rock

This a crushed type rock with a greenish color. It is only inventoried as 3/4″ minus in size.

Black Lava – 3/4″

Lava rock is a light weight igneous volcanic rock. Natural, crushed, and jagged porous lava rock that is light to dark black in color. It is used widely for landscape decoration.

Lava 3/4″ Cocoa Blend

Lava rock is an igneous volcanic rock. Cocoa blend lava rock can have a variegation of colors, including tan, black, and rust. It is used widely for landscape decoration.

Lava Red 3/4″

Lodi Gold Pea Gravel

An ideal aggregate offers a bulk solution for landscaping and garden needs. Long-lasting and low-maintenance pea gravel is perfect for all driveways, garden borders, and paths. However, if using for driveways it is a rock that does not compact well.

Lodi Gold 1-1/2″

Lodi Rock is quarried from the rivers of Central California and is a unique mixture of rounded and angular material. It is mostly tan to brown in color with some burgundy, grey, blue, and dark green rock.

Pea Gravel

Pea gravel is typically made of river rock with smooth, rounded edges caused by erosion and natural weathering. The name “pea” refers to its size—usually 3/8″ in diameter, roughly the size of a pea. It goes by many names, including CM16, pea stone, pea pebbles, pea rock, and pea stone gravel.

Road Base – 3/4″ minus

Roadbase is a crushed quartz-basalt type of material. When this material is compacted it will form a hard surface and is frequently used in the construction of roads, paving substrates, parking areas, footpaths, and driveways. P&L Concrete only stocks a virgin roadbase, (not recycled).

Crushed Rock 3/4″ Charcoal

This gravel is a coarse and angular material with a charcoal color. Commonly used for landscaping, flower beds, and works well for driveways.

Landscape Materials – Bark

Black Bark- Recycled

Black Bark is a recycled bark product used as a decorative bark applied around trees, shrubs, and flowers for a lush, attractive contrast. This bark can also be used for paths and walkways. This bark aids in water retention and assists in reducing weed growth. It will tend to fade in color over time.

Medium Bark

Medium Bark is one of the most commonly used bark. It is a fir and hemlock bark, ground fairly coarse, and is light reddish-brown in color. It will typically darken with age. Using bark as a ground cover helps suppress weed growth and retain soil moisture.

Mini – Black Bark

Black Mini Bark is manufactured from raw fir bark and is ground and screened to size. The product is then colored using a non-toxic dye. Freshly installed plants look great against this black background.

Mini – Bark

Mini Bark is sourced from raw fir bark that is ground and screened to approximately 1/4”-1/2” sizes. Mini Bark is a high-quality product that is very uniform in appearance and is a great ground cover for garden beds or around trees. 

Red Bark Recycled

This vibrantly colored recycled red fir bark is often used in a variety of landscaping uses. Use it around the base of plants to provide moisture retention and also to cover flower beds to help prevent weed germination.

Shredded Cedar – Bark

Shredded Cedar Bark is a stringy and fibrous bark that ranges in approximate size from around 1-3 inches. This bark originates from cedar trees—practical and attractive as a ground cover for most landscape applications.

Small Bark

Small Bark is fir bark nuggets sized roughly 1″. This product is used as decorative ground cover to control weeds, retain moisture and beautify an area.

Walk on Bark

Walk On Bark is derived from raw fir bark that is ground and screened to size. It has a natural appearance with a blend of light to dark browns. Walk On Bark works well in most decorative cover applications, providing a natural array of texture. Particles range between 1”-4” in size.

Landscape Materials – Amendments

Compost

Compost is  product developed by controlled, aerobic (oxygen-required) process that converts organic materials into a nutrient-rich soil amendment or mulch through natural decomposition. The end product is compost – a dark, crumbly, earthy-smelling material.

Organic Soil Conditioner

OSC consists of 100% wood fines and shavings and is fortified with nitrogen and iron which to contribute to the nutrients of the soil and plants.

Garden Mix

Garden mix is an amendment made of sandy loam topsoil, organic compost and organic potting soil. It is used primarily for growing plants and vegetables.

Planter Mix

Planters Mix is a blended soil containing organic compost, sandy loam topsoil, rice hulls (for aeration), bark fines and gypsum.

Potting Soil

Potting soil, also referred to as potting mix, is a blend of materials such as; nitrified bark fines, pumice, crushed lava rock, compost and worm castings.

Landscape Materials – Boulders

Desert Boulders

These boulders are a mixture of pale beige, russet and gray tones with a coarse texture which produces a cool western mood. An excellent choice as headliner in landscapes and water features.

Granite Boulders

Granite Boulders with black and white coloration, rounded or angular in shape, and available in various sizes.

Moss Rock

Moss Rock, or Field Stones, are a beautiful, small to large landscape boulder with an appearance of moss attached to its surface. Moss Rock is naturally sourced and has a lively color profile and enhances almost any commercial or home landscape project.

Landscape Materials – Sand

Sandy Loam

Sandy Loam soil contain sand, silt, and clay in such varying proportions to provide a good environment for growing most plants and grasses.

Plaster Sand

A washed fine aggregate sand which is a primary ingredient in plaster mixes. It is commonly used in concrete mixes for mortar or stucco and in concrete specialty products such as roofing tile.

Concrete Sand

Concrete sand is a specific type of sand used as an aggregate in concrete mixtures. Since the surface of concrete sand is coarse, it bonds easier with water, cement, and other aggregates to create strong and durable concrete products.

DELIVERY

P&L Concrete has various methods for you to receive our materials.
We provide delivery with our dump truck which is able to deliver 1 to 5 cyds of rock material or 1 – 7 cyds of bark material.
A dump trailer is available to rent to transport our products only, for a nominal fee, for a 2 hour time limit.
These trailers can carry from 1/4 to 1 cyd of rock material or 1/4 to 2 cyds of bark material.
NOTE: In order to tow this trailer a vehicle must have the adequate suspension and the proper hitch system. If necessary, call to confirm your vehicle’s compliance.
